Gothenburg is green and lush. Slottsskogen park stretches from Linnéstaden up to Masthugget, and has many walks, a zoo with a seal enclosure and several restaurants.
An ice-skating rink is also set up here in winter. The Botanical Gardens are situated right next to Slottskogen and in the heart of the city you have Trädgårdsföreningen with its Butterfly House, Rosenkafé and Palm House, all close to Scandic Crown, Scandic Europa and Scandic Opalen. In the south of Gothenbur you'll find the Scandic Mölndal hotel, close to the historical village Kvarnbyn, three golf courses and Gunnebo House and Gardens, one of Sweden's most beautiful neoclassical estates.
