Parental responsibility

It is important to remember that children remain the responsibility of their parents while playing at our hotels. We take our share of responsibility by ensuring a high level of safety in our playrooms at all times.

Play at Scandic

The playrooms are creative and inspiring little oases for children of all ages. They offer facilities for quiet play or more active pursuits such as video games, jigsaws and drawing. 

Some hotels offer permanent playrooms, while others have mobile play modules. Whichever hotel you stay in, you'll always find facilities for children to read, draw and do jigsaws.

Toys

The toys we have chosen are all high quality, and robust enough to be played with time and time again without breaking.

Supervision

In most cases, the playroom is located right next to the restaurant or reception.

Maintenance

The playrooms are maintained and tidied up daily.

Safety

Safety is always a crucial consideration, particularly when it comes to children and their activities. We are therefore extra careful when choosing materials and suppliers for our children's products. 
  • No small parts that can come off
  • The playroom has good lighting and ventilation
  • Only child-friendly and eco-friendly pens and crayons
  • Screens and TV sets are secured so that they cannot tip over
  • The playroom is located right next to the restaurant or reception for better supervision
