Shopping in Stockholm is great fun. You'll find everything from the very latest trends to second-hand treasures.
The established brands can be found on Biblioteksgatan and in the Sturegallerian shopping centre a stone's throw from Scandic Anglais and Scandic Park hotel. For boutique fashion and vintage, head for SOFO in Södermalm, not far from the Scandic Malmen hotel and Scandic Sjöfartshotellet. The city centre has the major department stores, such as Gallerian, NK and Åhléns, offering a wide range of everything from homeware to clothing. Designtorget is a showcase store for new, often unusual, Swedish design.
Fashion and design
Stockholm is at the very forefront when it comes to fashion and design. All the international brands are represented in the stores and on passers-by. And then we have our internationally renowned Swedish brands, such as Odd Molly, Filippa K, Whyred and of course H&M. Scandic Anglais is close to the shopping district Sturegallerian and Bibliotektsgatan. Scandic Continental and Scandic Sergel Plaza are close to Åhléns and NK. It is said that every world superstar with any sense of style has at least one pair of Swedish jeans in their wardrobe, e.g. Acne, Cheap Monday and Nudie.
