Separate room for teenagers
When children become young adults, it can feel like they have grown out of the spare bed. So we think it's a good idea to offer them their own room at a special young person's rate. A separate room for teenagers can only be booked if they are accompanied by adults who are also staying at the hotel. Call the hotel directly to find out what they can offer.

Changing table
All our hotels have a changing table. Generally speaking, the changing table will be located in the disabled toilet, but certain Siggelocal variations are possible. Ask a team member, if you can't find it.

Cots
If you want a cot in your room, we can arrange that for you. Since our hotels differ in their range of facilities, it is important that you mention your family's needs at the time of booking.

Scandic is best for kids

Why is that? Because they are our most demanding guests. They always say what they think, and they do so a lot. Since we believe that staying at a hotel should be a real adventure, we've made it our business to listen to what they want. That's why there is always something fun for kids of all ages to do at our hotels.

Activities

All our hotels offer play facilities of one kind or another. The range of activities may vary due to the hotel's geographical location, focus and size. All Scandic hotels offer a play area (next to the restaurant or reception) with video games, jigsaws and materials for drawing. You'll find more information about what each hotel has to offer on its separate page.

Films and kids' programmes

During high season, when we have lots of children staying at our hotels, we will also be showing kids' films. On top of that, we provide two kids' channels on the in-room TV during your stay with us – at no extra charge of course.

Don't miss

At the hotels that are most popular with children, we offer two special activities aimed at youngsters of different ages. We entertain the kids while you treat yourself to a moment of relaxation.
  • Sigge Story Tour – The children get to know how Sigge and his friends are getting on and what they do at the hotel
  • Quiz trail – This is aimed at older children who can read, giving them a bit of fun and teaching them the odd thing or two.
