Scandic Copenhagen is undergoing a very exciting renovation of the entire hotel. The hotel will be fully renovated in May 2012, and we're welcoming our guests to a fantastic experience. With the 18 impressive floors, the hotel is one of the tallest buildings in the city and lets you discover Copenhagen from above.
The renovation will capture everything Copenhagen is about. The interior design will be soft and elegant with a touch of coolness, adding to a self confident and relaxed atmosphere.
When you enter the hotel lobby, a huge telescope will set the scene together with mirrors dangling from the ceiling. The reception desk and bars look like they are almost floating in the room and playing with your perception. So are the cool swings encouraging you to be playful and see the world from different perspectives.
When you enter the elevators you will be met by the sound of birds singing, giving you the feeling of flying high above. In every room there is a window-height sofa where guests can relax and enjoy the stunning views over Copenhagen. In the room you will of course find a set of binoculars to expand the view even further. At the top floor lounge, the view unfolds completely and lets you become one with the Copenhagen skyline.
When the renovation is completed, Scandic Copenhagen will be one of the most remarkable meeting places in Scandinavia.
