Our hotel is a versatile place for relaxing in beautiful scenery on the shore of Vanajavesi lake. Relax and enjoy the peaceful lake scenery in our spa facilities. In addition to different kinds of pools and pampering saunas, you can enjoy refreshing drinks and small snacks at the pool bar.

Our classic and cosy rooms and extensive room selection cater to all needs. The rooms have comfortable beds and everything you need for a good night’s sleep. Some rooms have a balcony with amazing lake and park views, and some have their own sauna or bathtub. For bigger groups, we also have convenient adjoining rooms with a connecting door. Bathrobes and access to the spa are always included in the price.

Paying homage to the hotel’s functionalist architecture, the Superior Plus rooms on the 7th floor have been decorated with Vallila textiles in the style of the 1930s. The rooms have a separate bedroom, living room and 2 bathrooms, as well as a balcony with stunning views over Vanajavesi lake.

The spa facilities also have a gym, cafe and restaurant Karlberg, VIP sauna with a private room, 6-track glow bowling hall and Aulanko Areena. The arena offers events, top gigs and also serves as an exercise venue for the whole family at selected times.

Our hotel also has a spacious restaurant, a comfortable lobby bar, conference and event facilities for up to 800 people, its own nightclub, a romantic summer cafe and a large outdoor parking area free of charge for guests.

Next to the hotel, you can find Aulanko’s high-quality golf course, riding school and the excellent Puistometsä outdoor exercise area. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the observation tower in the area, where you can use the stairs for exercise, as well as a summer cafe.

The hotel has good transport connections. Hämeenlinna city centre is approximately 5 kilometres away and the railway station can be reached by a local bus that stops right in front of the hotel.
