Regnbårgsparken, Djurgården

This spot just behind Nordiska Museet is just amazing, the water and the beautiful wooden boats are just in front of you, and you are away from the buzz from the traffic and crowds on the way to Skansen and Gröna Lund.

Stadshuset, Hantverkargatan 1, Kungsholmen

Just by the water. I used to go swimming here when I was younger. You can sit on the stone stairs by the water and enjoy a coffee and a cinnamon bun. If you have your bikini, you can go for a swim after.

Mariatorget, Södermalm

I love this place. Even though it's in the middle of the buzz it's a fantastic spot to sit on a bench and enjoy the vibrant Södermalm. You can rest your eyes on children playing, older people enjoying the beautiful scenery, the little church in the corner and young couples in love.

Nobelparken, Djurgården

This is the "starting point" of Djurgården. You can choose to sit on a bench or just on the grass, look at the water and watch people strolling with their children in trolleys, people power-walking and enjoying the fresh air. The best time of the year is late May or early fall when you see the trees changing colours.

Engelbrektskyrkan, Östermalmsgatan 20, Östermalm

It’s a beautiful walk to the church and one of the best spots in Stockholm to enjoy a coffee on a bench outside. This part of Stockholm is very sophisticated with beautiful town houses and very few tourists.
