Your points are valid the year you´ve earned them and 3 additional years. The expiration date is always 31 December. Below you'll find answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding points and how expiring points can be used.

1. Can I make a reward night booking for next year even though my points have expired at the end of this year?
Yes, you can make a booking for next year. But please note, if you cancel or change the reservation next year, the expired points will be considered lost.
A reward night cannot be used as partial payment. If you're booking a reward night you have to book the whole night with your points. If you wish to book a stay for several nights and pay some nights with points and the other with cash, it's possible. If you're booking on our website, you need to make two separate bookings one with your points and the other with a credit card.
The reward night voucher and points cannot be combined. If you're booking with a reward night voucher the whole booking needs to be paid with the voucher. You can, however, combine several reward night vouchers to match the points of the hotel you choose.
Yes, the Scandic Friends gift voucher can be used as partial payment. You can also give it as a gift, as the gift voucher is not personal.
Unfortunately, we cannot process booking requests by e-mail. If you'd like to book a reward night you can book online or by calling +46 8 517 517 20. If you wish to give your reward night to another person you need to call our membership service.
No, this may take up to 2 weeks depending on the work load, please be patience.
Yes. If you and a friend have 5000 points each, you each order a 5000 points reward night voucher from your profile page. When combining these you can for example stay in a double room for 10000 points.
You can always check your point balance and when your points will expire on My pages (You need to be logged in to find My pages).
Please note, the point information you receive by email, in rare occasions, have an error a specially when you've done a booking recently. However, you always find the right amount on My pages.
The user ID is your membership number, which you can find e.g. in any of the emails we sent you. If you cannot find your membership number, please contact our Membership Service on +46 8 517 517 20 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new password by e-mail using your membership number.
The password will be sent to the e-mail address that is stored in your profile.
If you no longer have access to the e-mail address linked to your profile, please contact the membership service so that we can update your profile and you can request a new password.
