The best experiences are hidden away in Denmark’s natural sceneries and some are so outstanding that they've been admitted to UNESCO's World Heritage List. For example, the Wadden Sea National Park in the west and Stevns Klint in the east. In Central Jutland, you'll find natural beauty. Culture is so much more than just museums and you'll find plenty of evidence of that in Aarhus and the surrounding areas.  This year Aarhus has been named European Capital of Culture 2017 which means that in addition to popular attractions like ARoS Art Museum, Moesgaard Museum and The Old Town, there are also plenty of unique attractions to enjoy around the area this year.  In fact, you can experience more than 350 ordinary cultural events in the Central Jutland Region! Pay a visit to Djurs Sommerland, this year they've introduces Dragekongen - Europe’s fastest and longest family roller coaster. In North Jutland, you can fly way up high as you whizz through the forest on the attraction Orkanen at Fårup Sommerland, it's the only roller coaster in Europe that carries its passengers down under water in an underground tunnel.
