Today’s Helsinki is a modern European capital, internationally renowned for its architecture, design and state-of-the-art technology. Here, you can enjoy the latest trends, have a Finnish sauna, go on the world’s oldest rollercoaster and have an afternoon tango in a classic dancehall.

The city has studios, boutiques, buildings, galleries and museums offering the best from yesterday’s and today’s trendsetters. Food and beverage

" Makasiini Restaurant, table set up"
Helsinki has a wide and interesting range of restaurants – in fact, over 800 restaurants serving Finnish cuisine, Russian cuisine and much more. The HelsinkiMenu was launched during the city’s time as European City of Culture in 2000, and has become popular with visitors and locals alike. The menus are based on seasonal dishes composed of local ingredients at reasonable prices. Many good restaurants participate and every one has its own interpretation of the HelsinkiMenu. Between May and August, you can take the Spårakoff Tram around Helsinki for a pub and sightseeing in one.
