Make a visit to Denmark and explore Kolding, a city bursting with cultural delights. Visit Koldinghus - Museum, Ruin and Royal Castle. Stay at Scandic Kolding.
Koldinghus was built in the middle of the 13th century, and in the centuries that followed it was one of Denmark's most important royal castles. In 1808 there was a fire that left the castle in ruins. Today the castle has been restored and houses both ruins and a museum, which is a centre for cultural activities and special exhibitions of international standing.
You can also enjoy a day at Trapholt, one of the largest and most popular art museums in Denmark outside of Copenhagen. Opened in 1988, Trapholt is situated in beautiful natural surroundings, with a view out over Kolding Fjord. For more information about Trapolt, visit
