Scandic and Live Nation Entertainment enter into a unique partnership regarding visiting global artists

Now Scandic will be able to offer its hotel guests concert packages including accommodation, dinner and tickets for the biggest concerts and events in the Nordic region. The artists, their band and all accompanying staff will be able to stay at Scandic, and the concert organiser Live Nation will have the opportunity to hold VIP events in the hotel chain’s restaurants and bars.

The agreement between concert organiser Live Nation and ticket seller Ticnet, who are known collectively as Live Nation Entertainment, and Scandic is entirely unique. It runs for the period 2011-2013 and covers the whole of the Nordic region.

“This partnership with Live Nation Entertainment furnishes us with an outstanding opportunity to offer Scandic’s guests a superb total experience, with a hotel stay, a great dinner and tickets to the most popular concerts and events,” says Anders Ehrling, CEO of Scandic.

“We have chosen to work with Scandic due to its drive to offer customers a total experience that also includes entertainment. We see a clear link between that drive and our business, since many fans want overnight accommodation when they attend an event. Together, Live Nation and Scandic will create the very best experience for the artists’ fans,” states Tobias Ekman, Commercial Director Live Nation Nordic.

Scandic will announce the latest events at www.scandichotels.com, at the hotels and directly to the customer club of over 700,000 frequent guests from companies large and small.
