Our fund for a better world
We have been active in environmental and social issues for many years. Our Scandic Sustainability Fund supports initiatives to promote sustainable social development.
Since 2009, Scandic has only served water from its own dispensers and in its own carafes, in order to avoid unnecessary transport of bottled water. For each carafe that we sell, we deposit one krona into our Sustainability Fund, which mounts up to around a million kronor over a year. All the money is then shared out to various sustainability projects.
Come back to this page later in 2012 to read about the criteria and distribution of funds for 2012.
