As a member of 2nd floor, 3rd floor and Top floor, you´ll receive a restaurant voucher when you check in with us (even for reward nights). The value of the voucher and rules for how to use it may vary depending on the country of your stay.

20% discount on stays on weekends and selected holidays when you book on our website.
Earn Scandic points – 10% extra points when you book on our website
3% discount on stays on weekdays when you book on our website.
Use the 20% discount on food when you're eating in our restaurants, buying food in our hotels' mini shops or when you order from room service (the discount is valid from Friday morning until Sunday evening). You´ll receive the discount either during your stay when you´ll get something to eat, or visit one of our restaurants without staying the night.
Please note. It´s not possible to get 20% discount on packages such as New Years Eve dinner or in combination with other offers.
Remember to quote your membership number when asking for the bill. This discount applies to all Scandic Friends members up to 6 persons. But if you're a member of 2nd floor, 3rd floor or Top floor, you can combine the discount with your restaurant voucher (see above). During selected periods, the discount is also available all days of the week.
During selected periods, Scandic Friends members stay at extra special rates no matter what your membership level is. You can find the latest offers here on the website. You'll also receive the offers via other channels in good time before the period in question.
All Scandic Friends members can use their reward nights practically all year round. But sometimes there are exceptions in conjunction with trade fairs and other major local events. As a 3rd floor and Top floor member you have the benefit of no dates being excluded, meaning you can book a reward night any day. However, the number of rooms can still be limited certain dates so always make sure to book your room as early as possible.
This is a unique benefit for Top floor members! The 48-hour room guarantee applies when the hotel is fully booked and you book at least 48 hours in advance. Local exceptions to the 48-hour guarantee may occur during major events in the area, for more information about our exception dates, see the list below. You can book directly at the hotel or through our reservation and member service.
Some things to remember about the 48-hour room guarantee: Reservations must be guaranteed by credit card at the time of booking. You can only use the 48-hour guarantee for one room and only when it´s you yourself who will be staying in the room. We can´t guarantee a specific room type. The 48-hour room guarantee is not applied to when you book with Corporate and Bonus Cheque rates, but you can use a Bonus Cheque as part-payment and pay the rest separately. You can't use the 48-hour guarantee when you book a reward night.
If you're a Top flor member and travel with your spouse (husband, wife or registred partner) or another family member and you share a room, they'll stay for free! The offer doesn't include friends or colleagues, it's strictly family.
Book your stay as usual for 2 persons and the discount will be deducted at the hotel. If you've pre-paid your room the hotel will credit the discount. For some of our room rates there's no additional cost for an extra adult. So when you book a room at one of these rates you won't receive an additional discount.
All our Top floor members can work-out in our modern and well-equipped gyms - even when you´re not staying at the hotel. Most of our gyms give you free access to the best equipment.
Be prepared in advance and dressed for the gym when you arrive to us. We can't always offer a changing room. Contact your local hotel for more information.
Important to know if you´re visiting our gyms when you´re not staying at the hotel:
- The benefit only applies to our own Scandic gyms
- The benefit is personal and is only valid for one person
- You have to check in and check out at the reception with your Top floor card and valid ID
- The hotel is not responsible for any members using the gym
- The benefit only applies to the gym, we can't guarantee access to changing rooms
