Delicious homemade chai

Make your own chai latte for late evenings



With this delicious chai latte recipe, you don’t need to go to a café. It’s actually best when you make it yourself.

And why venture out into the cold when you don't need to? Fill the kitchen with a pleasant, spicy aroma and curl up on the sofa with a warm cup. If you’re in a hurry, take the latte with you in a thermal mug so travelling to work will be both warmer and more comfortable.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon green whole cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 3-4 cinnamon sticks
  • 5 slices of fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon black tea
  • 1-litre water
  • ½ litre whole milk

You need: Ordinary strainer or tea strainer

Preparations

1. Boil the water and add all the dry ingredients except the tea

2. Leave it for five minutes before adding the tea

3. Add milk and let everything heat up

4. Strain the tea through an ordinary strainer or tea strainer directly into the cup

5. Add brown sugar or honey to taste
