Our unique theme hotel is situated right by the fjord, in the centre of Namsos, and surrounded by magnificent nature. Enjoy the views of Namsenfjord from the hotel’s great restaurant, serving dishes inspired by local culinary traditions. The hotel has a meeting capacity of 450 people.

The hotel is tied to Rock City resource centre for pop and rock, and has a capacity for 450 people – ideal for gathering guests and giving them a unique meeting experience. The whole hotel has a rock-inspired interior, and guests can even enjoy a good night’s sleep in a guitar-shaped bed. The hotel’s restaurant has stunning views of Namsenfjord and serves dishes inspired by local food. The hotel has a great terrace, free parking and free WiFi.

Scandic Rock City is located just a stone’s throw away from Namsosfjord and right next door to the Rock City resource centre. The little coastal town of Namsos is known as a paradise for salmon fishing, with stunning natural surroundings and charming wooden houses all the way down to the water’s edge. The town sits in a small bay at the mouth of river Namsen, and the main part of the town stretches out across the bay. The surrounding area has 3 national parks, all of which we recommend visiting. From the hotel, it is just a short distance to local attractions and activities, and the airport is just 4 km away.
