Fløyen also has a climbing park for children, a zip-line between trees, and canoe rental at Skomakerdiket.
Fløyen is also a very good starting point for longer hikes in the city mountains. Revurtjern is a family-friendly destination at 4.5 km and a couple of hours' walk. For the fittest, the hike over the ridge to Ulriken is nice. The hike takes about 5-6 hours and is almost two miles - a fantastic opportunity to experience the City Mountains!
