The vibrant city life, the beautiful nature and the many attractions are luring you everywhere. In The Old Town the past comes alive where you can experience life in Denmark from 1700s until the 1900s. In The Latin Quarter, named after the old Latin school once located in this area, you’ll find some of Aarhus’ best shops. In the old, narrow streets paved with cobblestones, some of the world’s biggest fashion houses are competing with local designer shops. If you can´t get enough of shopping, don’t miss a walk down Strøget which is Aarhus’ famous pedestrian zone. Here you’ll find loads of great shops. If you prefer to have it all gathered under one roof, visit the department stores Salling and Magasin. Both of them are located in the city centre, just a short walk from Scandic Aarahus City and Scandic The Mayor, two of our three hotels in Aarhus.
