Goehtestraße Frankfurt
If you're on the hunt for up-market shops and well-known, exclusive designers, then Goehtestraße in Frankfurt is the order of the day for your shopping spree. Here, you’ll find all the big-name shops, as well as ONE Goehteplaza, a shopping centre exclusively for luxury brands.
Frankfurt Zeil
The main shopping street in Frankfurt and probably the most famous in 'Mainhattan', where all your wishes come true: In Zeil and the neighbouring MyZeil shopping centre, you can find everything from jewellery and clothes to electronics. But Zeil, with its many architecturally interesting buildings from the 17th century, has enough sights to offer those interested in architecture and history to fill up a complete day’s schedule.
Skyline Plaza Frankfurt
The Skyline Plaza in the Europa Centre provides 170 shops, over an area of 38,000 sqm, which have something for everyone: Whether it’s fashion, food or other everyday necessities. Your need for sport is also taken care of in the fitness studio nearby. With a direct transport link to the KAP Europa Congress Centre and the Messe Frankfurt, the former Urban Entertainment Centre is very strategically placed in Frankfurt.
Brückenstraße
In Brückenstraße, right over on the other side of the River Main, many young designers and aspiring start-up companies have set up shop over the last few years offering a very original range of products. Some are gaudy and brightly coloured, and others classically chic. Located between some of the museums belonging to the city’s Frankfurter Museumsufer Association, Brückenstraße also offers many beautiful walks along the banks of the River Main.
Schweizer Straße
Not far from the River Main itself, and only a few minutes away from public transport, many boutiques and little shops have put down their roots on the Schweizer Straße. If you love interior design, decoration and one-off pieces, don't miss taking a look here. With its close proximity to the River Main, Schweizer Straße also invites you to take no notice of the metro and instead explore on foot the beautiful trail along Germany’s most famous river.
