Oat porridge à la apple pie

Raise your oat porridge to new heights. A little cinnamon roasted porridge oats and homemade apple sauce is all you need.



Ingredients (4 portions)

  • 450 g porridge oats
  • 400 ml water 
  • 150 ml milk 

Sauce

  • 200 g apple, diced
  • 50 g sugar
  • 50 ml water

Topping

  • 125 g porridge oats 
  • Cinnamon
  • Butter 

Prepare as follows:

  1. Boil apples, sugar and water to make a sauce. 
  2. Roast 125 g porridge oats in a little butter until the grains are golden, spice with cinnamon.
  3. Boil 150 ml porridge oats, water and milk to the desired consistency. 
  4. Serve with apple sauce and oat flakes
