Explore the city
Oslo is not a large city, and there are short distances from the city to more rural areas. It’s easy to explore the city’s sightseeing’s and different parts by foot or by tram. A good way to get to know the city is from the bicycle seat when the weather permits – a good alternative to other transport in Oslo, and much more environmentally friendly! Some Scandic hotels in Oslo have bicycles that you can borrow for free, and if these are not available, it is easy to rent one from Oslo Bysykkel, which has more than 250 bicycle stations around the city.
