Esbjerg is located on the west coast of Jutland in southwest Denmark. The city is the base for the country's oil industry and is the world's leading port for the shipping of offshore wind turbines. Most of the city’s sights, such as the Fisheries and Maritime Museum and Esbjerg Art Museum, are located within reasonable distance of our Scandic Olympic Hotel in Esbjerg. If you prefer shopping, you can spend hours strolling along Kongensgade, one of the longest pedestrian streets in Denmark.
The Wadden Sea, located close by is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and nature holds unforgettable experiences for you here. Both on land and on water. Visit Fanø, pluck your own oysters or experience Dark Sky Park on the island of Mandø.
The area is also home to one of Denmark’s best golf courses at the Esbjerg golf club.
