Our top chef Piotr Ślusarz needs no introductions. A prominent cooking talent who won the hearts of thousands of viewers during his appearance on Poland's first Top Chef edition. First an intern in Amber Baltic Hotel in Międzyzdroje, he developed his career in Hotel Sheraton in Sopot and gained experience in the London Hibiscus restaurant, only to find his place in Poland's only restaurant with a Michelin star – Atelier Amaro. Today, he has given us great culinary joy as the person behind our restaurant offers.
The new menu is primarily the outcome of the vast experience gathered by our Chef over the past years. Simple and free in its interpretation, it focuses on characteristic Polish products, taking an unusual, sometimes highly surprising though incredibly positive form. Our proposed dishes include starters inspired by Kashubian cuisine, appreciated not only for its taste but also due to its aesthetic values.
The main courses offer mostly meat from Polish farmers, served in a way going well beyond anything your palates have encountered thus far. The tremendous precision and unique intuition of our Chef have already amazed the guests who have had an opportunity to try our new dishes.
The Chef is also committed to the Food Bank, acting as its ambassador. This has led to the presence of apples on our menu – our local delicacy, juicy enough to add colour to many a meal. All the sides on the menu are seasonal, which guarantees currently trending, fresh products, perfectly matching the time of the year.
Please note that breakfast is not included at Scandic Gdansk. This applies to Early and Flex reservations only. Our hotel packages and other rates all include breakfast. The breakfast costs PLN 35.
