Grüneburgpark
The original English landscape garden offers 29 hectares of expansive meadows for sunbathing, scenically scattered groups of trees for dozing in the shade, and winding gravel paths for jogging, strolling, and cycling. The park, located between the Botanical Garden and Palmengarten, got its name from the no longer existing "Grüneburg", the former country estate of the Rothschild family. Special highlights include the dainty gatehouse and the octagonal Schönhof Pavilion, which now houses a café.

Arboretum Main-Taunus
The arboretum spans 76 hectares across the communities of Sulzbach, Schwalbach, and Eschborn. Unlike other tree parks, you can experience different forest areas of the world here. The trees and shrubs are presented in small groups, as they would naturally occur. Among the 36 small forests, you can find the world's most abundant tree: the North American sequoia and the tree species with the highest life expectancy: the bristlecone pine. Other highlights include the wetland biotope and educational trails for rocks and native trees.

Nizzagärten
A Mediterranean breeze blows directly on the Main. Between Friedens- and Untermainbrücke, you can stroll and wander among palm trees, lemon trees, fig trees, and many other southern plants. The southern location, the wind shadow of the quay walls, and the sunlight reflected by the river create a unique Mediterranean microclimate that allows exotic plants to thrive in the "Nizza." The park, at about 4.5 hectares, is one of the largest southern public gardens north of the Alps. The best part: The park is within walking distance of the Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer.
