Room cleaning on request:For reasons of sustainability, we as a company have decided to offer room cleaning exclusively at the request of our guests. Would you like your room to be cleaned or do you need new towels? Simply request your room cleaning directly here via our digital concierge.

Baby equipment: We are happy to provide you with a baby crib free of charge on request.

Balcony: There are no balconies in our hotel rooms.

Bar: Cheers! Our bar is located on the ground floor. You can find the current opening hours here.

Accessibility: The Scandic Hamburg Emporio has 33 barrier-free rooms. Some of these rooms have adjustable beds. The corridor and the door in these rooms are at least 90 cm wide. Further information can be found here.

Extra comforter: Please let reception know if you need an extra comforter or pillow.

Payment: We are a cashless hotel. We accept VISA, American Express, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB, Diners Club, AirPlus, Union Pay and EC card payments.

Bus & public transport: The "Gänsemarkt" subway station is just a 2-minute walk away, from where it is only 2 stops to Hamburg Central Station. There are also various bus stops within walking distance of the hotel.

Iron & ironing board: There is an ironing board and an iron in almost all rooms. Exceptions are our corner rooms, where the set is available immediately on request.

Express check-out: You can pay your bill on the day of arrival or the day before departure in order to get a quick check-out on the day of departure. You can deposit your key card in the box at reception.

Bike rental: Our bicycles are available for a rental fee of 20 EUR per bike for one day. Please note that these cannot be reserved in advance and can only be used subject to availability.

Airport: The nearest airport is Hamburg Airport, which is approx. 8.5 km away. To get there directly, it is best to take a cab.

Breakfast: Our extensive/delicious breakfast buffet consists of many organic products and a large selection of gluten- and lactose-free products. Have you booked your overnight stay without breakfast? You are welcome to book it on site for EUR 26 per person. To our current breakfast times

Lost & found: Are you missing something? Contact us by email at hamburg@scandichotels.com and we will be happy to help you. We keep lost property for 6 months before we process, donate or recycle it.

Lugguage storage: Please contact us if you would like us to store your luggage safely. We have a luggage room for up to 50 suitcases.

Towels: Please contact our reception if you require additional towels.

Dogs: Dogs are welcome in hotel rooms by prior arrangement and at an extra charge of €20 per stay and per pet. We love dogs,but unfortunately we have to inform you of the following due to bad experiences in the past: Unregistered dogs may not be accepted or may be charged an additional cleaning fee of €50. Unfortunately,your four-legged friends are not allowed in the restaurant, bar and terrace. The exception is assistance dogs.

Internet/WLAN: We offer free W-LAN throughout the house. Please select the network "scandic_easy", open your browser and select the button "click to connect" - you can start surfing! This login is valid for 24 hours and can be repeated as often as you like. If you have any problems with your Internet access, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Climate control: Each room has individual climate control, which you can set manually in the room.

Credit cards: You can pay your room or bar bill conveniently by credit card. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express and EC cards.

Culture and tourism tax: This must be paid by all guests arriving in Hamburg at the hotel. Further information can be found here.

Late check-out: You can use your room until 12 noon on the day of departure. We charge a fee of € 20 for late departures up to 4 pm. On request and subject to availability.

Living room:The Superior Plus and Junior Suite categories offer access to the exclusive Living Room with complimentary breakfast, as well as snacks and drinks in the afternoon and evening. To our current opening hours

Parking: You can park in our hotel’s own garage for EUR 30 per 24 hours. We have 4 electric charging stations. You can find additional parking nearby in the Messe car park. Parking spaces cannot be reserved. Our reception staff will be happy to assist you further on the day of your arrival. Stop in front of the main entrance and ask for the nearest available parking. 

We have 4 charging points (22 kW output) in the underground car park. Charging complies with the latest standards and is particularly suited to Tesla. You can charge via an RFID card or the ChargeIT app. Our hotel team can inform you regarding the charging costs.

Smoking rooms: Our hotel does not have any smoking rooms. If you wish to smoke you are welcome to use the large terrace next to our restaurant.

Umbrellas: We offer umbrellas for hire at the hotel. You can pick them up at reception.

Invoicing: Do you need an invoice for your stay or would you like to change the invoice recipient? Contact us by email at hamburg@scandichotels.com and we will be happy to help you.

Travel tips for the surrounding area: Feel free to ask our team at the reception - they will give you perfect recommendations.

Restaurant: At the moment we do not offer an a la carte restaurant. You can find snacks and small dishes in our Scandic Shop, which is open around the clock.

Reception: Our reception is at your disposal at all times.

Safe: There is a safe in every room.

Sauna: Our sauna is open for you daily from 10:00 - 22:00. There is a women's sauna and a mixed sauna.

Shop: Have you forgotten a little something? In our store you will find various chilled drinks, coffee, tea, sweet and savory snacks, travel accessories and toiletries.

Shoe cleaning machines: Need to give your shoes a quick shine? You will find shoe shine machines in the basement -3 and on the 7th floor (in front of the conference rooms).

Laundry service: You can leave your laundry at reception until 9 a.m. and it will be returned cleaned by 8 p.m. on the same day. If they are to be cleaned by express, they will be delivered by 2 pm with a surcharge of 50%. Laundry bags and laundry slips are available at reception. 

Gym: Our Gym is open again around the clock for you. Yoga mats, jump ropes and elastic bands are available for rent at the reception.

Wake-up call: You can set this up individually via the telephone system in the room.

Late arrival: Would you like to arrive later than 6 p.m. and do not have a prepaid booking or credit card on file? Then please contact us by e-mail at hamburg@scandichotels.com so that we can deposit your valid credit card number and continue to guarantee the booking.

Yoga mats: Yoga mats can be borrowed from reception.
