The hotel is tied to Rock City resource centre for pop and rock, and has a capacity for 450 people – ideal for gathering guests and giving them a unique meeting experience. The whole hotel has a rock-inspired interior, and guests can even enjoy a good night’s sleep in a guitar-shaped bed. The hotel’s restaurant has stunning views of Namsenfjord and serves dishes inspired by local food. The hotel has a great terrace, free parking and free WiFi.
Scandic Rock City is located just a stone’s throw away from Namsosfjord and right next door to the Rock City resource centre. The little coastal town of Namsos is known as a paradise for salmon fishing, with stunning natural surroundings and charming wooden houses all the way down to the water’s edge. The town sits in a small bay at the mouth of river Namsen, and the main part of the town stretches out across the bay. The surrounding area has 3 national parks, all of which we recommend visiting.
