The following rules of conduct contain a set of regulations that you as a guest must comply with. This is not an exhaustive list and Scandic may take additional safety precautions if necessary.
- We require that you identify yourself upon arrival and bring valid identification. Guests who have a permanent residence and are registered in the Nordic countries are exempt from showing a passport or other travel identification.
- Behave with respect and consideration toward hotel employees, other guests, and persons at the hotel. Threats, harassment, and discrimination are not permitted.
- We report all legal violations that occur at our hotels to the police.
- We reserve the right to deny access and expel intoxicated individuals from the hotel restaurant and bar or other public areas where alcohol is served.
- Smoking is not allowed in your room or anywhere else in the hotel, nor is it allowed at the hotel's entrances. This applies to cigarettes, vapes, and similar. In case of unauthorized smoking, we charge approx. 470 EUR.
- Alcohol brought into the hotel may only be enjoyed in your hotel room and not in other parts of the hotel.
- The use of nitrous oxide is not allowed at or around our hotels.
- It is not allowed to bring persons who are not guests of the hotel into the room after 10:00 PM. At other times, persons who wish to be accompanied to a room must register at the reception before arrival.
- It is not allowed to bring weapons into the hotel. If you have a hunting license and need to bring your weapon, please contact the reception in advance.
- It is only permitted to leave waste that is usual for a hotel stay, so-called household waste. It is not allowed to leave bulky and hazardous waste such as gas pipes and large batteries at the hotel.
- If the room is left in a condition that requires sanitization or extra cleaning, we reserve the right to charge approx. 400 EUR or the higher amount that the sanitization costs.
- Maintain a normal noise level in the room. After 10:00 PM, there should be quiet in the rooms and hallways to avoid disturbing other guests.
- Video surveillance occurs at some of our hotels. More information can be found at the individual hotel.
- For safety reasons, it is not allowed to charge hoverboards, electric bikes, scooters, drones, or other large rechargeable products at our hotels.
- Due to fire hazards, you must not leave a key card in the power switch by the door when you leave the room.
- Due to fire risks, you should always unplug all your personal belongings (mobile phone and computer chargers, etc.) from the socket when you leave the room. If we discover during cleaning or our daily room checks that the plugs have not been unplugged, we have the right to unplug them.
- It is not allowed to register an address on our hotels.
- It is forbidden to cover, remove, or otherwise deactivate smoke detectors in the room. A charge of approx. 270 EUR will be issued if this is not followed.
- If you cause a false fire alarm intentionally or negligently, and the fire brigade responds, the hotel will charge you the costs for the response.
- It is not allowed to use our network for illegal activities or otherwise jeopardize the IT security of our systems.
- Charging an electric car or other electric vehicles is only allowed in specially marked areas at or around the hotel.
- The use of candles, electric stoves, gas stoves, or similar is not allowed in our hotel rooms.
