Welcome to Scandic Valdres, our hotel that won the award for having the county’s best hotel breakfast in 2022! Set in beautiful nature and calm surroundings, we offer exciting activities, good food and great meeting facilities – get your dose of mental and professional input in magical Valdres. Our hotel is located in the heart of Valdres, a short distance from great hiking trails, and both summer and winter activities.
We have 10 flexible meeting rooms all on one floor for 2–700 people. Enjoy good, local food and beverage in our restaurant or our unique rooms for smaller groups. Our hotel has a staffed gym with pool and sauna which our guests can use for free. The location is fantastic for our conference guests - no one will be heading home in a hurry.
Scandic Valdres enjoys an idyllic location on the shores of Strandefjorden. Here you can enjoy lazy days by the water, shopping in interesting shops, and spectacular trips to nearby destinations. Valdres has lots of activities to offer during both the summer and winter. With its location midway between east and west Norway, Scandic Valdres is the perfect stopping or meeting place for people on the road, and Valdres is well worth a visit as part of your journey.
Our hotel has 10 flexible meeting rooms all on one floor, where up to 700 people can be seated in a theatre-style configuration in the largest room. Our meeting rooms have recently been renovated with modern equipment. Vrimle is our pleasant break-out room, with a buffet sure to give everyone's energy levels a boost.
