TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SCANDIC MAY LOTTERY (THE “LOTTERY”)
1. ORGANISER OF THE LOTTERY
Scandic Hotels Holding AB, Reg. No. 556723-5725, (“Scandic”, “we”, “our”) arranges and is responsible for the Lottery.
The Lottery is governed by these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility as a participant to read and understand these terms and conditions.

2. WHO MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE LOTTERY
Members of Scandic Friends staying at one of our hotels between 1 and 31 May 2026 (the “Lottery Period”) and who have signed up to the Lottery may participate in the Lottery. Minimum age for participating in the Lottery is 18 years.
Your membership number for Scandic Friends is your ticket number in the Lottery. Each member may only participate once. However, all your booked stays during the Lottery Period will be taken into consideration in the calculation of the prize, read more in Section 4 below.
Any employees, consultants or similar, or relatives to those, at Scandic are not allowed to participate in the Lottery.
3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LOTTERY
It is only possible to participate in the Lottery if you have booked your stay through Scandic’s own channels. Bookings made through a third party or a travel organizer are not included in the Lottery.
Your stay during the Lottery Period could either be booked before or during the Lottery Period. You may participate in the Lottery regardless of the type of room you have booked, and the duration of your stay, as long as the stay occurs during the Lottery Period. You need to activate participation in the lottery before your stay occurs.
You will only be able to participate in the Lottery if your stay occurs during the Lottery Period and you have paid for your stay. After your stay during the Lottery Period, you will receive a confirmation on email of your participation in the Lottery.
3.1 If you have already booked a stay during the Lottery Period
If you already have a booked stay during the Lottery Period that qualify for participating in the Lottery, the stay will be added to the Lottery if you choose to register to participate in the Lottery.
4. PRIZES AND ELECTION OF THE WINNERS IN THE LOTTERY
4.1 Prizes
1st to 3rd prize: a number of free nights equaling the number of stayed nights (regardless of number of rooms booked) during the Lottery Period for the three member that wins, multiplied with 5.
For example: you have stayed three times during the Lottery Period, two nights each stay. This equals 6 nights in total. If you win one of the prizes, you win a total of 30 free reward nights.
The prizes may not be exchanged for cash or other products.
The free nights won in the lottery follow the same conditions as reward nights, but do not count towards a higher level and apply up to the value of 40 000 points per night. Winners of the lottery will be contacted with specific instructions of how to book the free nights. All free night stays need to occur within a four-year period after the winner is drawn. Further information about reward nights, bonus points and how those can be used may be found in our Scandic Friends membership terms and conditions.
4.2 Election of the winners
Scandic will select the winners by a random draw of all the participants of the Lottery on June 5th 2026.
Scandic will contact the winners through email or telephone within one week after the winner has been drawn using the contact information that submitted when the winners booked their stay.
If the winner cannot be reached or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days after Scandic’s first attempt to contact the winner, Scandic will select an alternative winner.
Scandic will also publish information about that the winner has been drawn on our website www.scandichotels.com.

Scandic is not responsible for any damage caused or alleged to have been caused by the participation in the Lottery.
Neither is Scandic responsible for any problems or obstacles as regards the participation in the Lottery or receipt of the prize due to any IT-related problems.

The winner is responsible for any taxes related to the prize.
