The Skansen Christmas market has been around since 1903 and is today one of the most popular Christmas markets to visit in Stockholm. A Christmas oasis where you are guaranteed to find Christmas presents for family and friends among about 70 exhibitors on site. Food and crafts are available for purchase as well as activities such as Christmas crafts, candle dipping, dancing around the Christmas tree, and much more from Swedish Christmas traditions.
When? Friday-Sunday between November 28 and December 21, 2025. Always be sure to check opening hours, changes, and entrance fees yourself.
Hovstallet
At Hovstallet, Swedish Christmas traditions are offered for three days. Here you can see the king's horses and get a guided tour of the royal carriages used during, among other things, state visits. At the Christmas market, you can explore a wide variety of different crafts. You will also find a food stall with all kinds of delicacies.
