Korkeasaari Zoo in Helsinki is familiar to almost all Finns. Both adults and children enjoy the island of animals, as there is plenty to see, experience, and learn in the animal world for everyone. How do I get to Korkeasaari?
Korkeasaari is located about a 20-minute journey from the center of Helsinki. You can reach the zoo by land or sea: year-round by crossing the bridge connecting Korkeasaari and Mustikkamaa, and in summer by waterbus from the Market Square.
Bus 16 from Helsinki Central Station. The bus operates year-round from Rautatientori directly to the ticket sales at Mustikkamaa.
Waterbus to Korkeasaari from the Market Square. Operates daily from June to August, and on weekends in May and September.
