Located at the transition between land and sea at Brattøra in Trondheim, it’s about a 10-20 minute walk from our downtown hotels.
Kristiansten Fortress is the perfect spot for a walk alone, with your family, or perhaps with your dog. It offers great views, green lawns, and many benches to rest on. The walk up is a short, steep hill from the city, and the area isn’t large, but the lovely park around the fortress makes this an idyllic place for a stroll with a stunning view of Trondheim. You’ll also find the Kommandanten restaurant here, where you can enjoy locally sourced food from Trøndelag.
