About the hotel

Just a stone’s throw from public transport and within walking distance of the centre. The newly renovated Scandic Holberg is perfect for anyone who wants to experience city life on foot, or anyone coming to Oslo on a business trip.

After extensive renovation and modernisation, Scandic Holberg reopened in February 2025 in a new and exciting style. The new Scandic Holberg boasts 133 modern guest rooms, a lovely breakfast restaurant and a lobby and bar area perfect for social gatherings. We offer free WiFi throughout the hotel, a modern gym and a 24-hour shop with a selection of light meals, snacks and beverages.

For guests arriving by car, there are several parking options nearby the hotel. Scandic Holberg is located in the centre of Oslo, right by Slottsparken, and within walking distance of Bogstadveien, Majorstua and Karl Johans gate. Here you will find shops, restaurants and theatres in the immediate vicinity. There are excellent transport options right outside the door, with tram stops just a few metres away and a 10-minute walk to the Nationaltheatret station.
