The wine cellar is located in the historic building Dragebygget from 1874. Although the cellar has been completely renovated, we have carefully preserved details and elements from Dragebygget’s original structure. The building was originally a sanatorium for patients with tuberculosis, hence the name. The basement originally housed the kitchen, but in the 1980s, it was converted into a very popular nightclub.
In the Sanatorium’s wine cellar, we serve wines from around the world, as well as an excellent selection of champagnes.
If you enjoy wine tasting, we can arrange one that includes four glasses of different wines. Our wine connoisseurs expertly guide you through the tasting and recommend food that pairs well with the various wines. We also now have an outdoor dining area offering a fantastic view of Oslo.
