Visit our Italian Ristorante Ferro located on the ground floor of our hotel. With an open kitchen and staff who are passionate about their profession, we can guarantee you a genuine feeling of being in Italy. If you want to work out, we have a modern gym for strength and cardio training. You can also borrow bikes from reception and discover the neighbourhood, or go for a walk in Nordmarka forest. If you're planning a conference, our hotel has 5 meeting rooms, with a capacity for up to 150 people.
Scandic Vulkan is centrally located in Vulkan, by the river Akerselva, close to Grunerlokka. Right next door is Mathallen, a mecca for anyone interested in food and drink experiences. If you follow the river Akerselva to the north, you’ll soon be in the more rural setting of Maridalen. It takes 10 minutes by bus from our hotel to Oslo central station. The airport train takes you to Oslo Airport Gardermoen in only 20 minutes.

Do not forget to enjoy the view and some fresh air on your private 24 sqm terrace overlooking Grünerhagen, Vulkan and Akerselva. The studio apartments are only accessible with stairs.
