Scandic Rauma offers its guests bright rooms and a variety of services in a great location. Enjoy breakfast and dinner in our relaxed restaurant and relish in the canal views on the cosy terrace in the summer. The hotel sauna offers the opportunity for warm baths, and if you want some exercise, you can find the required equipment for both aerobic training and working on your muscle strength at the gym. Children can have a great time in the play area adjacent to the reception. We also provide meeting spaces for all kinds of events. All areas of our hotel have free internet access.
The hotel is located right next to Old Rauma, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its small, romantic alleys, this area of wooden buildings—the largest and best preserved of its kind in the Nordics—offers a unique experience. Other highlights of the seaside city include the various events taking place during Lace Week, which celebrates the Rauma lace traditions, and the waterbus trip from Otanlahti to Kylmäpihlaja lighthouse island.
