Staff and Friends & Family rates at Scandic

Staff rate

This is where Scandic employees can book hotel rooms to special staff rates. Choose from all our hotels in six countries. The staff room rate includes breakfast and VAT. Please note: The rates are applicable for leisure travel only (no business travel).

To enjoy the staff discount, you must meet the following criteria:

• The Team Member Card is delivered to your work location one month after hire.
• Be employed on a permanent contract
• Have completed Onboarding in Fuse
• Possess a valid Team Member card

How to book Staff rate

• Staff rate is only bookable online.
• Choose the hotel, dates, rooms, and number of people staying
• Click "show more options" and enter LHSTAFF in the field "Booking code"
• Click "See rooms and prices"
• You will then be shown the latest room availability and prices.

Please notify the hotel after completing your reservation, to verify that a pet room is available. Regular prices applies to pet rooms.

Rules for team member Staff rate

• Only bookable online
• Use booking code LHSTAFF
• Can be booked max 60 days in advance
• You must be included in the party being booked
• Rooms are offered subject to availability
• Maximum two rooms per night and one extra bed per booking
• Show a valid Team Member card and ID at check-in

Friends & Family rates

The Friends & Family rate offers reduced prices for friends and family of team members.

• The rate is only bookable by a Scandic Team Member
• Can be booked max 60 days in advance
• Friends & Family reservations should only be booked through the link on Fuse as the booking code changes frequently
• Friends & Family reservations are eligible for Scandic Friends points and benefits and always include breakfast
• Rooms are offered subject to availability
• If required a Friends & Family reservation can be moved by the hotel to another Scandic hotel in the same city.
• Change or cancel the reservation until 18:00 local time on the day of arrival. Payment in conjunction with stay.

*The number of rooms available at Staff rate and Family & Friends rate varies and external customers are always given priority. Can be booked max 60 days in advance. Change or cancel the reservation until 18:00 local time on the day of arrival. Payment in conjunction with stay. Each hotel makes its own decision on availability and the possibility of booking the staff rate. Once the room has been booked, the hotel cannot change the rate. However, the reservation can be moved to another sister hotel in the same city.
