Lights out for Earth Hour

Saturday 24 March, our hotels switched off the lights for Earth Hour. One of our many actions to decrease our environmental footprint.

Saturday 24 March, 8.30 pm – 9.30 pm, most of our hotels switched off the lights as a part of Earth Hour, the world’s biggest climate change campaign and one of our many actions towards a greener world.

For decades we at Scandic have been working to decrease our environmental footprints. To switch off lights during WWF’s Earth Hour is a symbolic action that sends an important message to the people in power, and also a reminder for all of us to take climate change seriously.

For a greener world

Our work towards a greener world is constant. As a guest, always know that

  • our hotels have 100% renewable electricity
  • our Eco labeled hotels systematically decrease water, waste, CO2 and use of chemicals.
