Booking with codes/discounts

Where can I enter my booking code when I book?

In our booking module, you can enter your code in the field "Add booking code", click on the arrow next to 'Booking code, Bonus Cheque or Reward nights' to make the field visible. Valid booking codes are corporate codes (D-number: D123456789), gift vouchers and promotional codes.

How do I book with a student discount?

You need a valid booking code. This, along with the terms and conditions for student discounts, can be found on the student card's website (Mecenat) Enter the code in the "Add booking code" field in our booking module.

How do I book a room using a gift voucher?

If you would like to make a booking with a Scandic gift voucher, please call us at +46 8 517 518 20. If you have a gift voucher in a denomination of 100 or 500, you cannot pay with these on our website. Payment should instead be made directly at the hotel.

How do I book a reward night?

Family bookings

Do all hotels have family rooms?

No, not all hotels have family rooms, but they are often able to offer extra beds.

Does it cost anything extra for my children?

Children up to 13 (0-12) may stay in an adult's room at no extra charge. Children aged 13 and over are counted as adults and pay full price.

Changing/cancelling/checking a booking

How do I change/cancel/check my booking?

Bookings made on our website can be cancelled and checked online. Click on the heading "View/Cancel you booking". If you wish to modify your booking please contact our central reservation service +46 8 517 517 00. Bookings made at the hotel or via our central reservation service are not shown on the website. Contact central reservation or the hotel directly.

Credit and debit cards

Can I book via the website without giving my credit card number?

Yes, you can book our Flex rate without paying in advance. Payment is instead made directly at the hotel. However, bookings at the Save rate and some promotional rates have to be paid for at the time of booking.

Why can't I book with my credit/debit card?

Make sure you don't use any special characters in the fields for name and card number, e.g. (.) (,) (-) (/) (:).

Booking confirmation

I haven't received a booking confirmation. What should I do?

Call our central reservation service on +46 (0)8-517 517 20, option 1, or contact the hotel and they will send out a new confirmation.
