Art at the hotel #artstayshere
Art unites Sweden and Berlin – in October 2016 Scandic Berlin Kurfürstendamm hosted 15 Swedish artists, who gave the hotel a unique makeover.
In October, Scandic Berlin Kurfürstendamm is dedicating itself completely to art. Back in 2014, Scandic Hamburg Emporio led the way with its ART Rooms, which demonstrated that an artistic interpretation of the theme Water could give the hotel an impressive and individual touch. At 'Kudamm', 15 urban artists from Sweden, including tape, knitting and graffiti artists, are at the ready to give the hotel a unique makeover during the 20-day #SWEBLNART project.
When is the event taking place?
From 6–26 October 2016 Scandic Berlin Kurfürstendamm will be transformed into a live performance studio for street and urban art. The hotel rooms, corridors, fitness suite and restaurant will be given a new, colourful look. Anyone who wants to come and experience the artists live and in colour, and to check out the artworks during and after the process, is more than welcome.
