Sarah Lüdemann

For Superior Plus room 804 the artist Sarah Lüdemann abstracted the cycle "Water creates humans, humans create art, art creates water" and made a beautiful artwork that spreads across the entire room in the shape of wall-paintings, hanged paintings and texts.

Sarah Lüdemann’s works are generally on the cusp of seductive sensuality and utter brutality, serenity and irritation. She works with video, sculpture, drawing and performance; she initially studied Fine Art, Linguistics, Psychology and Philosophy at Cologne university, was selected for an influential residency with Mona Hatoum at Fundación Marcelino Botin in 2010 and received the South Square Trust Award to do an MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, London, which she completed with distinction in 2011. Recent shows include Ones & Zeros (solo), HDLU, Zagreb and Carnal Desires, Museum Villa Rot, Burgrieden. For the Art Room at Scandic Hamburg Emporio Lüdemann abstracted the cycle of: "Water creates humans, humans create art, art creates water."
