Staying at a hotel is a real adventure, and this summer we're making it extra fun for the little ones! Children up to 12 years old stay for free in adults’ rooms and get to enjoy lots of fun activities!

- Kids receive a mocktail at check-in – applies if you as an adult are a Scandic Friends member.
- Tasty meals for kids on our menus.
- Pancake buffet at breakfast – included for children when adults book breakfast.
- Crayons and drawing paper in the restaurants.
Benefits at selected hotels:
- New this summer! With our Kids Pass, children 0–12 years get dinner, drinks, and scoops of ice cream in the restaurant as well as unlimited kids’ mocktails and popcorn. Kids Pass can be added as a booking extra from 14 EUR per day.
- Pancake party for breakfast. Included for kids when adults book breakfast.
- Movie screenings every day. You'll get the schedule at check-in.
- Quiz walk. Explore the hotel and spark your competitive spirit.
- Playroom & hangout. Full speed for the little ones, chill and games for the older kids.

Where can I buy the Kids Pass?
You can purchase a Kids Pass online before arrival as an extra to your booking. Once you have booked your stay, read more here on how you can add the Kids Pass to your stay.Extras can be added until 11:59 PM on the day before arrival. Your Kids Pass will be waiting for you at reception when you check in.
You can also purchase a Kids Pass through our Call Centre or at the hotel. Please note that the price is higher when purchased at check-in.
How much does a Kids Pass cost?
Prices vary by country. There is one price for online/pre-arrival purchases and a higher price for purchases made at the hotel.
- Online pre-arrival price: 139 SEK/128 DKK/149 NOK/14 EUR
- Check-in price: 149 SEK/149 DKK/169 NOK/15 EUR
The price is per child, per overnight stay.
Can I use Scandic Friends points to pay for the Kids Pass?
No. The Kids Pass cannot be purchased using Scandic Friends points and cannot be combined with any other discount.
When can the Kids Pass be used?
The Kids Pass is valid from check-in at 4 PM until noon the next day.
What is included in the Kids Pass?
The Kids Pass includes dinner, drinks, and scoops of ice cream (available during restaurants opening hours) as well as unlimited kids’ mocktails and popcorn. The offer is available for children aged 0–12 years.
Should I book a table at the restaurant?
Yes, we recommend booking a table in advance, either online or when you check in.
Can I cancel a Kids Pass purchased online?
Yes. Extras can be canceled online until 11:59 PM on the day before arrival.
The fine print
Children up to 12 years stay at no extra cost in an adult's room, extra beds subject to availability, and breakfast is included for children whose adult companions have booked a room including breakfast. The above offer is valid during the summer period between June 18 and August 31, 2026, at the hotels specified in the text.
